CES: the Consumer Electronics Show

CES 2008 is here, and I’m really excited! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get out to Vegas this year (we’re trying for next year) to cover everything from there, but I’ll do my best from news sites, podcasts, blogs, Digg, and other resources to find out about the cool new gadgets, companies and announcements. I’ll be posting all sorts of things here on davemoyer.org for the full span of the show, so be watching!

One thing I really was interested in today was the fact that Bill Gates gave his final keynote Sunday! He’s done with Microsoft for good: the end of an era. He now wants to work a bit more on the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and no longer has any involvement in the Microsoft company. Here’s a video on CNET TV.

How interesting! I never thought this would happen so soon… More CES updates to come, keep watching.
