The world’s thinnest notebook was announced by Steve Jobs today at Macworld! 0.16 to 0.76 inches thin and weighing 3 pounds, it will cost from $1799 to a bit over $3,000 depending on the features you want.
Here are some pictures from Apple’s photoshoot:

About

Hmm…maybe it’s just me(and probably IS) but i find these things…totally and utterly repulsive. I’ll stick to the old ones, thanks. Oh, and the basic shape really, really resembles the new iPods…I certainly hope they don’t make everything look like that from now on!! *gag*
I enjoy thin products for their movability…so I think this should be a success. Particularly because it’s from Apple. Thin notebook’s performance, for me, should have emphasis on keyboard usability.
Other laptops have keyboards with connected keys, and on thinner devices, this makes it SUPER hard to type what you want the first time around. Apple’s keys are each individually set into the base, and it’s just easier. That’s why Apple computers were made, after all…for usability.
