I'm Speaking at WordCamp Phoenix 2009
October 12, 2009Tweet
For those of you in the Phoenix, AZ area (and even those of you who aren’t!) I’ll be there speaking at WordCamp Phoenix, a WordCamp conference for WordPress users, bloggers, and social media enthusiasts of all skill levels and backgrounds.
I’ll be talking on using WordPress as a multimedia publishing platform: Go beyond the words! Learn to use WordPress as a powerful tool for multimedia distribution (text blogging is so 1999).
For those of you who’ve seen my sessions at (most recently) WordCamp Dallas,San Francisco, and Denver this year, this should be somewhat similar, but I’ve got 30 minutes as opposed to a full hour, so things will definitely be switched up a bit. Plus, what fun is it to the same thing every time? I always try to have new surprises no matter what the session ;)
If you’ve never been to a WordCamp before, they’re my favorite for a reason. (See my Top 8 Reasons Why WordPress Users Need to Get to a WordCamp.) If you’re interested in WordPress, blogging or any kind of emerging social media, they’re the place to go.
