The City At Night… AGAIN!

Being a resident of the oh-so-elite Denver, Colorado area, I often find myself running around downtown for various reasons. This week I was down meeting some fun people for some new projects I’m working on (don’t you worry, you’ll hear about everything soon) and got to pop in on a few events with a conference that involves students in Historic preservation!

In the process, I also managed to get in one more tour of the city at night. It’s quite a scary place at… 8:37 PM. Thanks to Emily and Kyle for being awesome with me!!!

If you haven’t seen my first City at Night video, watch it here! :)

I HAVE ELEPHANTS!!!

I’ve been feeding my app addiction lately and came across the most AWESOME APP EVER!!! It’s called Elephant Odyssey and the premise is simple: take care of these awesome wandering elephants. All proceeds benefit the San Diego Zoo, and for 99 cents, that’s a bargain!

“Mom, that’s not Jack.”

It’s funny how many people have asked me if this is a true story. Yeah, in fact, all of it is true. I just left out the little detail that apparently Jack was the blond lady’s nephew. But other than that, yeah. All true. Scared me, too. And I had seemingly permanent lipstick on my face for about an hour.

Interview with Pixorial

I was out speaking at the CSIA DEMOGala 2009 just a few weeks ago, and I was dragged over by the folks at Pixorial to talk about what I do and how I got started in the digital media world. (Excuse the just rose from the from cold/flu dead look and feel- it’s snowy Colorado! Sometimes it just can’t be avoided!)

It’s a short little bit, but Melissa Hourigan’s post on Soci@lByte is too nice, and the folks at Pixorial are great. Look for an interview with them on Best of the Net from Bitwire Media soon!
